Cajun Bait Seasoning will have a cooking team out there this year! Come on out and see us and eat some amazing Crawfish Etoffee cooked by the creator (Shane Nezat) of the awesome flavors of Cajun Bait Seasoning along with his great cooking team, Dennis Duhon, Kevin Janise, & Scott Labbe! We will also be selling yummy bowls of our Crawfish Etouffee at this event!
The 33rd Annual World Championship Crawfish Etouffee Cook-off
Sunday March 25th, 2018 10 am- 4pm. Held every year at the Northwest Pavilion 651 Samuel Drive in Eunice. The Crawfish Etouffee Cook-off attracts thousands of local and visitors alike who appreciate good Food, good Music and good fun!
Teams compete to see who can cook the best crawfish Etouffee (smothered crawfish). Celebrity and Professional Judges proclaim winners in three categories; Amateur, Professional and Clubs & Organizations. Teams also vie for Best Decorated Booth. Once the judges have their sample then the participants sell their Etouffee directly to the public. Participants also can and do cook and sell other foods. Beginning at 10 am bands perform for the listening and dancing pleasure of our visitors. This years bands include: Seth Spell and Cajun Strong, Kyle Huval & Dixie Club Ramblers and our headliner Courtbouillon (Wayne Toups, Steve Riley, Wilson Savoy)
